TLDR:
How many maps would you wish for?
Im curious what your wishes and expectations are!

The McMeddon Insight/thoughts:
Technically i can choose to do maps in 8-16 different sizes all with varying purposes, but time is ultimately crucial. In the past year, i´ve done several different strategies to release these maps. With the most extreme of "everyday maps" at the Christmas in 2020 and "Max Development" in recent months with releases 2-3 weeks between.

There are pros and cons to quality and quantity, whereas I as favor more the quality part
With increased map amount, the key points that were impacted were:
- Motivation,
- inspiration,
- and development

but benefited from plenty of exposure, rapid changes, and small improvements. Basically perfecting the state I've begun with. With less time to work on development, improvements were hard. And new implementations of builds were impossible. But the increase of responses and feedback also kept its motivation up.

In the past weeks, I´ve had plenty of time to gather inspiration, create a lead for helping to guide myself, and even start to create questions that are really hard to answer...
like:

  • What makes a survival map GREAT and adventure-worthy?
  • How much customization is too much?
  • Where is the line off to realistic and to stylistic, and
  • What makes a map useful?

Overall important philosophical questions that build the guidelines and rules of my maps, and lead to what this is today. So more time spent on that can help shape core fundamentals.

This poll also is quite hard to decide on, due to the biases that will occur.
- Adventurers & new will love exploring new maps,
- but people that like really play survival on these, don't need new maps every week.
- And some dont even care, as these maps are just what they are, maps, but forget that it takes a creative being behind that to realize that

Anyway, I'm curious what your opinion is!
