Here’s my dormitory diary entry for June.

It’s been so hot recently that it’s made going outside a chore… It’s only June…How the heck is it so hot?

At the studio, I’ve been working on my in-betweens.

I’ve gotten really used to tracing – my lines are cleaner than before, even though I’m drawing faster.

It makes me happy.

It’s been really fun to draft different movements, like characters turning or their hair fluttering in the wind.

I like to look at my timesheet and imagine how many frames I’d need to finish each movement.

Man, key animators are amazing.

I can’t stay in my comfort zone with these sketches forever.

Time to get serious.

６月の寮生日記を投稿します。

最近、暑さに耐えられず外に出るのも億劫になってきました…。６月なのに…なんて暑さだ…。

会社では動画の練習を行っています。

トレスするのにもだいぶ慣れて早いペースで綺麗な線が前より描けるようになりました。嬉しい。

振り向きや髪のなびきなど動きを考えながら下書きするのがとても楽しいです。

中何枚だとどんな仕上がりになるのかなど、タイムシートを見て頭で想像して…と考えるととっても楽しいな〜と。

原画マンの方って本当にすごいなあ。

時間があるうちは帰って少しでも絵の自主練をしていかなければと考えてます。

好きに落書きするだけではだめだなあ。
