May Dormitory Diary Entry - Ura (Patreon)

Hello there, it's Ura, and I recently watched the entire Rocky film series. This is my dormitory diary entry for May.

Apparently, the new Creed movie is being released in Japan at the end of this month. My senior told me to watch Rocky to prepare for it. I found it so interesting that I ended up watching all the way up to the latest movie, Creed 2.

The plot centers around world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who gives an underdog named Rocky Balboa a shot at the title for publicity. The Creed sequels are about Apollo's son.

Before I watched it, I assumed it was just another boxing film, but the human drama was so well depicted that I found it extremely engaging. To my surprise, Sylvester Stallone, who played Rocky, also wrote the script.

I also thought the Creed sequel was excellent, so I'm really looking forward to Creed 3.

As for work, I'm helping to produce an OVA and TV commercial for a certain anime, so I anticipate things will start getting busier. We haven’t been particularly busy at the studio, so I'm bracing myself a bit for a pace shift. However, I plan to tackle each task in front of me as thoughtfully as possible.

こんにちは。

最近映画のロッキーのシリーズを全て観ました、浦です。

5月の寮生日記です。

どうやら今月末くらいにクリードの新作が日本で公開するようで、それを観る為にロッキーを観ておけと先輩に言われて観てみたのですが、面白くて一気に最新のクリード2まで観てしまいました...。

あらすじとしては、世界ヘビー級チャンピオンのアポロ・クリードが話題作りの為に格下のロッキー・バルボアに挑戦権を与え、ロッキーがアポロに挑む、というものです。そして、ロッキーの続編のクリードはアポロの息子の話になっています。

観る前はただのボクシング映画という印象しかなかったのですが、人間ドラマの部分がしっかり描かれていてとても面白かったです。なんと、ロッキー役のシルヴェスター・スタローンが脚本ということで驚きました。

続編のクリードも凄く良かったので、クリード3がとても楽しみです。

仕事の方ではとあるアニメのovaやTVcmの制作があり、これから徐々に忙しくなるかなと言った感じです。ここ最近会社の中が忙しいということが無かったので少し身構えていますが、目の前の仕事をひとつづつ丁寧にやっていきたいと思います。
