March Dormitory Diary Entry - Ura (Patreon)

This is my dormitory diary entry for March.

It’s been a bit since we changed our desk arrangements at the studio. A lot of people pass by my area, so it’s a bit noisy, but I think I’ll get used to it soon.

On a more personal note, one of my superiors and friends got moved over to a corner desk. It’s a bit hard for me to get to it now, which is sort of a bummer. We used to converse here and there, and they let me see whatever frames they were working on.

Not only that, but they were really friendly and approached me on my first day on the job. They kindly gave me guidance whenever I had a question, which made such a big difference. They’ve really done a lot for me.

Also, it’s been a year since I joined the Animator Dormitory. I came to Tokyo exactly a year ago and was very anxious. However, reading other people's dormitory diaries, I figured everyone was just as nervous as I was, which was relieving. Now, we’ve got some more residents coming in. There are still some people in my same group that I haven't met yet, so I hope we can all get together with the new residents.

お世話になっております。浦です。

3月の寮生日記です。

会社の中で席替えをしてからしばらく経ちました。今の席はよく人が通るところで時々騒がしくなりますが、すぐに慣れると思います。

それよりも個人的にですが、仲の良い先輩の席が会社の隅の少し行きにくい場所になってしまったのが残念でした。たまに話しかけるついでに描いている途中の原画を見せてもらったりしていたので。

それだけでなく、その方は私が入社したその日からよく話しかけてくれたし、わからないことがあった時も親切に教えてくれたのでとても助かりました。本当に良くしたもらったと思います。

あと一週間で新人の人達が入ってくるので、私も同じようにできたら良いなと思います。

また、アニメーター寮に入って1年が経過しました。私が東京に来たのは1年前のちょうどこの時期でその時は不安も大きかったですが、他の方の寮生日記を読んで皆さんも自分と同じように感じているようで、少し安心できたような気がします。

そして新しい寮生の方が増えました。私と同期のメンバーでもまだ会えていない方もいるので、新人の方と合わせてまた集まれたら良いなと思います。
