November Dormitory Diary Entry - Kuroda (Patreon)

Apologies for the late update. Here’s my dormitory diary entry for November.

I was chatting with my friend from college recently. We come from different industries but we’re both artists and we waxed about our jobs, illustration, and different shows. After listening to their thoughts on drawing and what they specifically focus on when they draw made me realize some aspects of my own art that I haven’t been giving enough attention to. So, I’ve decided to incorporate some of those points into my drawings going forward.

On the work side of things, I’m sure this has to do with my own lack of ability too, but due to a staffing shortage I’m doing keyframe cleaning on top of animation and now I’m not sure how many frames I’m supposed to aim for each month.

My goal right now is to practice clean-up work so I can get back to my animation faster.

更新が遅くなってしまい申し訳ないです。11月の寮生日記を投稿します。

つい最近自分の大学時代の友人と話をしました。同じ業界ではないですが絵を描く仕事で、お互い仕事の話や絵について作品について語り合いました。友人の絵の描き方や描く時に意識していることをきくと今まで自分が考えたことはあるけれど絵を上手くしようとして意識していなかった部分がわかって自分の考え方に足りなかったものだと感じ絵を描く時に取り入れてみようと思いました。

仕事の方は技量不足ではあるのですが人手が少ないということで途中で2原をすることもあって1ヶ月に何枚と何カットという風にどのくらい描けていたら良いのか目標がよくわかっていないです。

2原の後でもすぐに動画に取り掛かれるように練習しようと思います。
