April Dormitory Diary Entry - Watanabe (Patreon)

This is my dormitory diary entry for April.

I recently had my initiation ceremony where I got to meet my co-workers. I was a bit anxious as I thought I might've been the only new person at the studio this year, and I was relieved to see that wasn’t the case. Everyone at the studio seems very kind which I'm thankful for.

My studio primarily deals in digital animation so there are a lot of tools and software that I’ll have to learn. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to master them all. If I can’t learn how to use them though then I can’t do my job, so I guess I guess I have no choice but to step up to the occasion! It’s times like these where I’m reminded that animation is a very serious discipline. On top of that, I wanna get my drawing skills up too…Why do we have to be limited to only 24 hours in a day?!

I guess I just gotta take it one day at a time and try to be as efficient as I can!

4月の寮生日記を投稿します。

先日入社式があり、初めて同期の人達と顔合わせをしました。入社するのが私だけだったらどうしよう…と思っていたので安心しました。会社の人も優しそうな人が多くて良かったです。

私が入った会社はデジタル作画をメインにしています。そのため、使い方を覚えなければいけないソフトや機材がたくさんあって、使いこなせるか結構不安です。使い方覚えられるかな…、というか覚えないと仕事が出来ないので気合いで覚えるしかないですが！改めてアニメーションの勉強頑張らなくてはいけないなと思いました。それに加えて、画力も上げるために絵も描きたいし…。何で1日は24時間しか無いんでしょうか!

一日一日を大切に、時間を無駄にせず頑張っていきたいです！
