Here is my dormitory diary entry for April.

The warm seasons are now underway, and the air is comfortable. Seeing the Sakuras in full bloom on my way to work reminds me that we are in a new year.

Since April, I’ve had the pleasure of becoming an animation supervisor, which I’ve been busy with over the past week. I undertook a preliminary exam a few days ago where I needed to check if certain frames matched their attached timesheet, find mistakes in keyframes, and fix any errors as I found them. There’s still a lot I don’t understand about the role—it’s a bit different from my usual animation work, but that makes it fresh and fun. For now, the frames I check are still being sent up the chain for further review. However, I hope to work hard and prove myself as a full-fledged supervisor!

4月の寮生日記を投稿します。

気温が暖かく過ごしやすい季節になってきました。通勤途中の桜が満開で新年度の始まりを感じます。

4月から動画検査をやらせてもらうことになり、早速今週から作業に入っています。先日は前動検というものをやりました。タイムシートが合っているかや作画ミスがないか、ある場合は直したりしてます。まだまだわからないことが多いですが、動画とは少し作業内容が異なるため新鮮で楽しいです。今はまだチェックした上がりを動検の方にさらにチェックしていただいていますが、早く一人前の動画検査になれるよう頑張りたいです！
