Hi Everyone!

This week is a short post but a productive one! So I'll get right into it.

1: What's New?

This week was focused on the Coco animation set and it was very productive.

Firstly I finished off the art assets, formatted them to the Unity friendly PSB file type and got it into Unity.

Then the layers where given animation bones and presto. The artwork is now in unity and ready to Animate.

Here's an example of it. I coped the Roxy animation pack over so it still has some lighting settings on that. But I'll do a lighting pass next week to brighten it up.

Like the Roxy Pack I plan to have multiple lighting options for your convenience.

Like prior animation packs there are written logs for all 14 parts of the sequence as Coco gets bound up progressively more and more. I've inserted all the log entries in. (Written by IceLeung This time!) and they're a lot of fun to read along the animations!

 

2: What's Next?

Next up is animating in Unity! With 14 parts to animate I might have the pack done by next Friday. But if not we're still looking at a release on the 17th/18th of May. We'll see!

The total list of things to get done include:

1: Animate all 14 parts.

2: Do a lighting pass.

3: Make a custom title screen for this animation pack.

4: Export the pack into screenshots, videos, and the interactive gallery.
