I binged this when it was first released last year, and was constantly back and forth on multiple characters as well. What I did notice, is that a couple of episodes ago at the funeral for the mayor right before Fester arrives, they actively focus on the boots of Principal Weems, the psychiatrist, and Thornhill - it was raining for the funeral, so it's easy to overlook first time around, but when I realized it was 3 people I was suspicious of, I had to rewind to check out the differences.
