Personally I believe the mario movie for the 80s is so bad its good. But if you want you can check it out but don't expect it to be like the game

I kind of like the idea of changing it to Luigi because it makes the person he captures someone he know while getting the romance to bloom with peach. Without it it would be more like rescuing someone you don't know with a world you don't know. Also yes, bowser always loved peach, especially in the newer games
