This was my 2nd watch, i think it was fine, i don't know it just didn't grab me like the others did, i thought the reveal and motive were very weak, the whole "you hurt my family so i want revenge" type thing has already been done and done better in Scream 2, i don't think it helped that i called it the moment them characters were introduced lol, however i did think the NY setting was awesome and the kills were awesome! Obviously i know what im in for with a slasher movie...but come on...surviving all that? i just can't buy into this one lol and not only that when they do show back up after being pretty much gutted they are running and talking like nothing happened at all...but i am thankful this wasn't too bad there hasn't been a bad Scream movie yet which is insane for 6 movies. but i do feel the next needs to be done a bit better and be more surprising, my order from best to worst for me is 1,2,3,5,6,4

For sure agree on the stabbing stuff lol kept coming back like they were Jason or Michael lol, but I get it, its a slasher

Well the original trilogy just felt unique and had a gritty look to the picture it felt just as much of a Scream movie as the previous 2 did, plus i just got it.. and thought some of the characters were great, i get why people dislike it but end of the day they had no choice but to change it as there was an incident in the country and they had to tone everything down and change the script...But with what we got was fine IMO. Plus...It's Sidney fkn badass Prescott at her finest!

Great reaction! I love Scream 5 and 6, however, the amount of times the characters are stabbed and shot and are able to survive or even walk off by themselves at the end is a little out there. I also think it's inconsistant with what stabbings are fatal and which ones are treated as minor flesh wounds. Again, still love these films. That said, my rankings for all 6 Scream films from favorite to least favorite: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6........and 3 is wayyyy at the bottom, not even close to the top 5!
