When cassian got convicted its so ironic he just lead an terrorist attack on an military base and no one found out and now he got sentenced 6 years in prison gor doing nothing. That just shows that it doesnt matter if you fight the empire or not they will just dump you for nothing, so why dont fight

And also i love the mon mothma scenes the are just so stunning and she is maby one of the most interesting characters in all star wars. She could just lay down and get all of the empire’s benefits. Nothing is affecting her personaly or her family. She is pure privileged, but she fights against it. Fight for others for democracy. Thats hero material, and we need more such people in our world.

Its really mindblowing how this show can flip from the buttclenching drama and breathtaking visuals of Aldhani to a transitional episode of just a series conversations and be just as gripping. A testament to how well written this show is we give a crap about these characters. “Why rebel?” This show continues to show us new ways to answer this question. We knew Luke and Leia embraced their destiny. Han Solo came for the cash, but stayed for love. Mon Mothma stood against corruption. Saw Guerrera wanted blood. Luthen swore an oath. Marva? She didn’t see any other choice, for herself or her home. She’s may just be an old woman, but she’s the ground floor of rebellion. Yo how bout the switching from Clone Troopers in the flashback to Stormtroopers in the present. Clean AF, like everything this show does. It’s the best made Star Wars.

The white haired imperial who gave the speech at the beginning was Yularen from clone wars. The republic admiral of skywalkers cruiser. We also saw him in rebels along side thrawn trying to find the rebel spy (Kallus). And of course he appears on the Death Star in a new hope.
