They should have just recasted Black panther instead of killing him (a fan favorite character) offscreen

Replacing BP with his sister isn't something they just made up. There is ample precedent for it in the comic lore. Chadwick Boseman isn't the kind of actor you can just replace in this situation. The actor is just as much if not more of a part of the fan favor here and his body hadn't even been cold for a year yet by that point. I think there would have been much more fan blacklash in replacing Chadwick...especially when Shuri taking the helm has actually been a real canon storyline since long before the MCU existed. Marvel fans have gone totally apeshit crazy over far less than that. :)

i dont really get why its such an issue in the MCU when superheroes go into other countries and places without permission but when whenever wakanda does it (which is CONSTANTLY throughout BOTH BP movies) its like celebrated?? like

It’s pretty simple if you think about it at a humane level.. the cast and everyone at the studio involved just probably couldn’t even think about another actor playing the role with it being so fresh.

It's more the other way around in my mind. While the Black Panther himself is "superhuman" and legally fell under the Sokovia Accords because of that.....Wakanda itself and its citizens were not under their jurisdiction. And of course now the Sokovia Accords are gone now so it's a moot point. In fact a main takeaway for WF is that it's the REST of the world infringing on Wakanda's sovereignty trying to acquire their Vibranium tech. Until quite recently their entire civilization (the real one) has been hidden for centuries.

that’s fair but now that the previous black panther said he wants to share technology with the world and showed everyone how much power and medicine wakanda has, they continue to not want to share and then they get angry for people entering their country but they go snooping around across everyone’s borders and say “the doramilaje have jurisdiction wherever they say they do” like that’s not exactly how international laws work

You're not wrong... The only argument I can think of is that every government of consequence in the world employs some form of spying and espionage against their neighbors and rivals. The major powers have entire massive agencies soley dedicated to subterfuge. Wakanda deserves to play by the same rules as the rest of the world. They just have a huge (and arguably very unfair) advantage. lmao There's also an underlying message that humanity as a whole can't be trusted with what Vibranium can really do....which is true.

I agree with you Primate, this is the best movie Marvel has released after Endgame. Spider Man: No Way Home is a very close second. The Black Panther piece of the MCU has such a unique feel to it. The characters, the world, etc. Ryan Coogler absolutely masters both movies as an director.
