I really hope you end up watching The Defenders before diving into Season Three of Daredevil. and if you're going to take the time to do that, you might as well take the time and watch all the other shows leading up to The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, I'll admit Iron Fist IS a slow burn of a show.. took me a while before I got into the whole story line. but when I DID it became very addicting. There's also a surprise character who shows up in all these shows.

Iron Fist - specifically the first season - is a bit rough. Mostly it's poor choreography and action scenes but there is actually a lot of good dialogue. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the second season. Jessica Jones is overall very good, Luke Cage is solid, and I would love to see reactions to all as well as the Defenders. At the very least I would at least watch S1 of Jessica Jones before that, and absolute necessity to watch Defenders before Daredevil S3.
