I read an article some time ago exploring why Count Dooku was never shown with the "Sith eyes", and the assertion was that it was because he never completely gave himself over to the Dark Side. He used the Dark Side, he allied with the Sith, but never lost hold of his higher ideals which were inherently antithetical to them. Working with Palpatine was a marriage of convenience born of his desperation to save a galaxy he feared may already be too far gone.

This show is awesome! I’ll never forget being at the panel at Star Wars Celebration where Dave Filoni introduced the show. Everyone there got to see an exclusive screening of the first episode with Ahsoka as a baby, and Dave gave a beautiful explanation of the episode. He brought up the moment where Ahsoka connects with the animal, and asks the question of if she was using the force or simply just showing compassion to the animal and connecting to it that way. His point was “is there really a difference.” It’s such a great thing to say, because if you think of it, most Jedi at their greatest moments in Star Wars could have done what they did without using the force. All Luke did was stand by his father, willing to die for him, he didn’t use the force to strike down the emperor. Obi-Wan didn’t need the force to sacrifice himself for Luke. Vader redeemed himself without the force, he physically picked up the emperor. The list goes on. That episode just goes the show the depth and beauty of Star Wars as a whole, and it does it with just one little moment. Also, I cannot wait until the Episode 4 reaction of this show, that episode is insanely good.

So I heard that Bad batch and Mando are gonna be mixing release dates for episodes. Like Bad batch starts in January all the way to March and Mando starts in March now so we getting a special little treat for the next few months

The second episode reminds me of that one pantorian guy harassing the tulls because they were natives on their neighboring moon. The part with Ahsoka and her mom makes me question the anatomy of togrutas. Like I know they don't have ear canals so would loud noises like blaster fire affect them? Maybe baby togrutas are special? Either way I liked these episodes 🤙
