Yeah, Crosshair's chip being removed is a bit of a question mark. We see the chip affecting him, and we see it in his head when Tarkin orders the programing to be increased. If he just said that he had it removed, then that could have meant any time after the first episode. But the fact that he says "a long time ago" just makes it a bit confusing.

I always personally felt his chip was removed when they fought on the scrap planet and it burned his head. They had to remove it to repair damages to his brain/head instead. So now he's just acting on emotion and his vision of betrayal in his mind.

Here's a thought... What if Nala se made a chip semi different to the standard clone chip, just enough to slip under any Kaminoan radar. What if a special order was planted in that one chip by Nala se personally. What if it needed to be hidden in a clone that had already shown their loyalty to her and not the Empire. Just a theory but wouldn't that be an interesting story to tell? A double agent kinda thing

Here’s what I have to say you say crosshair was trying to kill them so they had to run but don’t forget the samething happened with Wrecker, thoses are 2 very similar situations that they did had a choice in, also I say this as someone who lives with former soldiers “showing that there is more to life than being a soldier” that’s not an easy task there are even some soldiers that loves being on the battlefield and some that would rather die in it

Deadpool

I personally believe back with the engine his chip got fried cause look at his head afterwards and now doesn’t look like a chip would survive that

Leesha

I reckon he still has the chip in. Even at the end of that fight you could see him touching his head like the chip was hurting or something

Seeing Tipoca City get destroyed was like watching a main character die. So many memories and moments lost in an instant...

The problem with whether or not his chip was removed after the injuries he sustained on Bracca is that if it was removed while he was recovering from that, would the scar from the chip removal even be distinguishable from the burn scarring. The healing from both would likely have been taking place simultaneously in the same area. And something to consider regarding whether he had the chip removed or not. We saw that, while under the influence of the chip, Wrecker went after Omega, seeing her as a traitor. Crosshair, on the other hand, actively advocated Omega being separated from the fugitive Batch for her own safety. I considered the possibility that this would just be a clever attempt to make it easier to capture her... but that was what the Kaminoans wanted, and for cloning projects the Empire no longer wants.

"There's only a few things from Star Wars I've watched that I haven't enjoyed too much" That's right it's the Prince Lee Char arc

The part when the theme plays and they all work together is just amazing.
