I adored that first scene between rhaenyra and Luke. I just love scenes of motherly love . Reminds me of how I feel with my own mum.

I think it’s worth noting how both riders lost control of their dragons and I think it’s to do with the bond they share with their respective riders. Luke was scared so Arrax lashed out in an attempt to take out Vhagar. Vhagar is feeding off Aemonds hatred since Luke took his eye and as soon as Arrax burned her she was going to kill Arrax and Luke. In the books it is said that a dragons first instinct when threatened is to attack. Arrax felt threatened multiple times and so burned Vhagar. Then Vhagar killed Luke. Aemond I don’t think wanted to kill Luke but putting the largest and fiercest dragon in that situation in a game of cat and mouse was always going to bring catastrophe. It is definitely his fault and without meanin* to has kickstarted this war.

Viserys did say “It’s an illusion. The idea that we control the dragons.” Such great foreshadowing

It would have been Daemon and Renayras third child. They were introduced in the 8th episodes to the king named agon and vasarys.

Deadpool

That was NOT a fight that was a one sided cat playing with its food massacre, hell take away the dragons and it still would’ve been one sided

Deadpool

When I saw Dameon with Vhagar I honestly thought he was gonna try to take the dragon but clearly that wasn’t the case

Josh Ashford

That wasn't vhagar that Damon was with, that was vermithor, 2nd biggest dragon after vhagar. He is riderless so Damon was taming him

Deadpool

Gotcha, I kinda assumed it was Vhagar because my subtitles said Verlaryon music and thought he was trying to take Vhagar away from Aemond

Remember Daemon mentioned the unclaimed and wild dragons. Hopefully we get to see more of them....and not in the shadows but out in the open
