It’s really unfortunate because I believe that they had another movie planned. I also recall reading something saying they were planning on including both Jason Bourne and Jeremy Renner’s character together in the film, not sure if this was true or not, but it would’ve been neat. Apparently the film got scrapped entirely.

I heard it got scrapped because Renner's schedule was just too chaotic with all the Marvel stuff, so hopefully now that his schedule has eased up they will come back to the idea of having Cross and Bourne in a film together, I think it would be really cool to see the two remaining agents of two very different programs work together.
