my jaw actually dropped when i saw Daredevil, im so incredibly excited for you to watch it. It might be my favorite thing Marvel has ever made including the movies.

I really do believe this should be mentioned but when you get to season 3 you will be extremely confused because season 3 takes place after Defenders and Defenders takes place after season 2 of Jessica Jones, season 1 of Luke Cage and season 1 of Iron Fist who is mostly the main focus of in Defenders I’m not gonna complain if you go down the Clone Wars route with this series and and switch after each season but just know if your doing all three seasons you will get extremely confused with the beginning of the third season

Yeah i’d say at the very least he needs to watch The Defenders. The route i took was season 1 and 2 of Daredevil then The Defenders then season 3 Daredevil. I know a lot of people will probably want him to watch the other shows as well which is fine if that’s what he chooses but speaking from experience, the route i took worked perfectly fine for me
