YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ! Cant wait for this Journey. You're in for one of the best shows you've seen in your life!

Erick Garza

Greif Karga is played by the same actor for Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies. Kinda covenant that your doing that franchise at the same time!

rocco parodni

f yeahh you just started the best series ever

They actually made a really fun Jango Fett bounty hunting videogame back in the day. Super outdated now though, unfortunately. They were pretty far into the development of another one that would’ve focused on Boba, but it got scrapped after the Disney takeover. Hopefully, with how popular this show and the bounty hunter comics are, it gets resurrected in some way.

Brennan

Yes dude so excited for this series!

Welcome to the party!! (1) Beskar steel and alloy have been talked about. Name dropped in Rebels in particular when they were talking about how the “Duchess” affects Mandalorian armor (2) The animal Quill rides has also been in Rebels and Clone Wars. It’s a blurg. Twileks on Ryloth ride them . Was so excited to see them in live action for the first time (3) The IG series droid has also been seen everywhere. Or at least similar versions. IG88 was one of the bounty hunters in Empire Strikes Back. also in some episodes of the Clone Wars though there, they were called “assassin droids.” (4) 12:00: It’s called an E-Web :)

Time to share my favourite in-universe factoid to put age differences in context! Baby Yoda and Anakin Skywalker were born the same year. They would have been the same age at any part of the whole story. :D I find this fascinating from a character standpoint of this toddler experiencing that much time and thinking about how short the human lives around him must seem. Like, we already know the age difference from Yoda, but it's hard to conceptualize 900 years in a concrete way. 50 years is comparable to a human lifespan. (Also, another realization in The Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker that he died at 45. It's hard to think of Vader having a specific age, but he just suddenly seems very young when you think about it.)

WE HERE BABY! The show looks and sounds FIRE, and we just getting started. I think broadly speaking, the progression mirrors Rebels. Mostly self-contained season 1, get settled into this patch of the galaxy, learn the characters, feel the vibes, have a good time. Season 2, light this bitch on fire. Small callbacks: - Mando’s using beskar armor has floated around both canon and non canon for a while but not really focused upon until this show. We got a mention, IIRC, in the first mando arc of clone wars when we met Satine and Pre Vizla (Jon Favreau, the executive producer on this show!). Obi’s investigation took him to beskar mines. Then, much later in Rebels, we had a short arc with Sabine’s weapon that targeted beskar armor. That’s about it, but we’ll get plenty more here - the hunched little creatures Mando and the ugnaught rode on were Blurggs. We’ve seen them used a exclusively on Ryloth; in the last episode of the Ryloth invasion in season 1 of Clone Wars (The one with Mace Windu) several Twi’lek including Chams Syndulla, rode them to battle. In both Rebels episodes on Ryloth, Chams and the Rebels again used them to get around

The amount of f*ckin excitement that went through my body when I saw this!!! ENJOY THE RIDE!!!!

Lucas Chantler

Man I remember way back on the old channel when you first started clone wars thinking it would be 30 years until we got to Mando. Crazy it’s here, you the GOAT Primate

SKITS_ 3D

Bruh THIS IS THE FREAKING WAY. I am SO HYPED right now. I can't wait for MORE. I HAVE SPOKEN. Don't worry Primate this will be a freaking RIDE!!! I may or may not have (clears throat) a lot of this Mandalorian figures

rocco parodni

the mandalorian is its own unique thing. you wont see familiar faces much but they created amazing new characters, imo this series and mando's character single handedly brought star wars live action to its glory

Supply Drop

Let's GO, this show and it's second (and soon, third) seasons are banger after banger. even the slow moments semi-slap

Jetz

this is where the fun begins!!

Jonathan Ma

We got Salacious Crumb’s brother’s cousin’s roommates’ uncle on the spit roast

This is the way

Primate . You are in for a Treat. You will be delighted as fuck . This shit is on par with clone wars + rebels if not better. To me it’s all Star Wars and all Star Wars is good. But I’ll just say you won’t think of this like you thought of The Last Jedi or The Rise of Skywalker

Kevin Sharbaugh

As others have said, you're in for a ride! I just started watching a few days ago and finished the season 1 finale last night... and am kicking myself for not checking it out earlier! And the art at the end of the eps is a definite treat, like the dessert after a meal.

damien craft

there is a video game where you play as jango fett being a bounty hunter working for sidious prior to episode 2

Dan

Don’t know if anyone said this already, but Mando is actually played by Pedro Pascal or Oberyn Martell in thrones!

Malik Barrow

Omg I can't wait for you to see season 2 bro... but season 1 is amazing so enjoy it, some amazing moments in this show just like Rebels and Clone Wars. Strap In.

GrimJack

For me it replaced the GoT theme as my ring tone 😆👍

2 a week?

Nathan Cline

I can't think of any other series characters that appear in Season 1. Season 2 has a few cameos.

As for other shows, Babylon 5 is a personal favorite which I closely follow reactors of. I'm only aware of like 4 people currently doing it. 5 22 episode Seasons 5 Made for TV movies, and a couple attempted Spin-offs that never really took off. The Librarians is good. Bones (12 Seasons) if you haven't seen it is great, and has a 1 Season spin-off called The Finder (Available on Disney +) You really could tackle Obi-Wan Kenobi at any point, its basically a 6 Episode mini-series, and doesn't spoil any other shows. The Expanse is another great Sci-Fi show, and Jack Ryan is another great action series. (Both on Amazon Prime)

Azazel the Fallen

My guy putting the experience before the views is exactly why you are the reason I bit the bullet and made a Patreon

serendib

You're hoping to see some characters from the animated series crossover in live action here? Dave Filoni is one of the major creatives on this show. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Let him watch the show and discover this stuff, cmon, no spoilers

Nah you fuck off. Smug indirect "non-spoilers" hints like this are even more annoying than direct spoilers. How about you fuckers just let him experience the show on his own without going out of your way to influence what kind of story events he can expect in future episodes. It's really not that hard, and it makes a better viewing experience for him and reaction video for everyone else.

SKITS_ 3D

Speaking about fallen order there was a youtuber that edited in Mando in a similar fallen order type game where he had a BD droid, but don't watch it just yet there are spoilers

tyb3ll

Primate, the only episode you need to watch out for with a post credit scene is the season finale of season 2.

Jack Sharpe

I watched this a day or two after it came out, so I managed to not be spoiled on Baby Yoda. Let me tell you, it was quite the shock.

Roy González

You are watching it the right way, no sweat. We as SW fans appreciate that you are loving and respecting the stories by watching it all.
