Clone Wars refresher: Maul got the darksaber by besting Pre Vizsla in a duel for control over Death Watch and Mandalore. Maul won with pure skill alone, no force abilities. With his takeover, the majority of Death Watch went along; expect for Bo-Katan and her Night Owls. This lead to a civil war between the 2 separate fractions that was ended when Ahsoka was sent with the 501st to capture Maul.

Man what an episode. Maul will always be one of my favorites. Man there is so much u wanna say but I can't yet. 5 more weeks of this season. I can't wait cause it only gets better from here. I hope your ready cause the end episodes of this season are bangers.
