With new unique skills and tactics, the Bad Batch also brought some new camera angles, which look fantastic with the improved animation. It’s just a a gorgeous looking show - AND IT GETS BETTER Small continuity note- when Ahsoka and the Martez sisters were leaving Coruscant and ran into Anakin’s ship in the “military lane,” he was leaving for this campaign. This means as Ahsoka was on her adventure with the Martez’s, Anakin was just starting this stage. We’ll see how it plays out No Rebels slander will be tolerated. A lot of the criticism stems from anti-Disney sentiment: Disney just bought Star Wars, they cancelled Clone Wars, the animation is a VERY different style (admittedly due to budget cuts). There is a new cast, and did not have the benefit of starting off with fan favs like Anakin and Obiwon and other Jedi the way Clone Wars did. It IS a Dave Filoni project through and through and you will feel it as you watch it. Going from CW S7 to Rebels is absolutely a tonal and visual shift, but the show is full of heart and will reach emotional highs that arguably surpass Clone wars. season 1 is an introduction to the new cast and is pretty lighthearted, but the show ramps up sharply from the end of there. Don’t forget, Clone Wars had its “less intense” moments too (refer to the start of season 4). Programming note: there’s also a time jump, Rebels takes place a couple years before Rogue One/New Hope. In the end, Rebels will steal your heart. It’s a load of fun, and it lays soooo much ground work for Mando, which honestly…for waiting and doing it in the right order, you fucking deserve it. You earned this shit, so when you get to Mando, be proud of your self. It’s Star Wars pornography, it hits the little button in your brain that triggers that dopamine hit and then smashes it

please don't underestimate Rebels! people jumped on the hatetrain because it aired right after disney bought star wars. Early Rebels has the same energy as early Clone Wars! not bad necessarily, but it gets better as it goes :) i honestly hope you enjoy it when you get to it, because it's an important show:)
