This is why the clone wars is so great it progresses many characters so much like you said now it makes more sense that he turned and same with many other characters story’s

I think Anakin was getting a bit beat up because the dark side is supposedly stronger than the light side, and since Barriss was tapping into it, she had some edge she wouldn't normally have. Also, Barriss pretty much has the same level of expertise as Ahsoka herself, so she ain't that weak.

Fun production note: Kevin Kiner, the music director, wanted a full fuckin orchestra to do the final theme for Ahsoka leaving. Filoni gave the ok, and boom - shit hit extra hard at the end. Soulful. This was indeed a “series finale” for a while- Cartoon Network dropped the show after s5. They had a bunch a unfinished episodes they wanted to do, and some of those got released as season 6 on Netflix. Then we got Disney Plus which brought season 7. The show has truly been on a journey as much as the characters and fans. Some painful comps: When Maul murdered Satine, Obiwon collapsed in grief and wept…but ultimately returned to the order. When the council abandoned Ahsoka, she walked away peacefully, by choice. When Anakin felt betrayed by the council….well, we got revenge of the sith. The tragedies experienced by Ahsoka and Obiwon, which Anakin knew about, both inform and contribute to his fall and make it even sadder. That’s what clone wars does for the prequels- it makes Anakins turn hit that much harder. Lastly…who takes more fucking L’s than the Jedi Council, even Yoda. We were all just glad to see more Jedi doin cool shit when this show started, when times were cheery. Now, they just rack up L’s

I always find it funny when someone watching clone wars for the first time says Ahsoka might die or will die because when this show was airing that was what everyone believed
