I highly recommend you watch Fury and Hacksaw Ridge! Two fantastic movies.

I can't believe Hacksaw Ridge is based off a true story. It makes it even better. You would think that a story like that it would have to be made up.

Saving Private Ryan is my favorite war movie. My 2nd would probably be Glory with Denzel Washington, Matthew Broderick, and Morgan Freeman.

A few other favorites: Black Hawk Down, Enemy At the Gates, Behind Enemy Lines, Platoon, Fullmetal Jacket, We Were Soldiers, Warhorse......totally different but if you haven't seen Braveheart or Gladiator they are both MUST SEE.

Hey, What about Stripes with Bill Murray, John Candy, and Harold Ramos? It's a war movie but also a comedy. I loved it!

I realize it's been said, but I want to second: Enemy at the Gates, as a WWII film worth seeing. If we're talking ANY war film, people should check out: Passchendaele. It's the only film I'm aware of that highlights Canada's (where I am), contribution to WWI. And sadly, nobody knows about it.
