It's interesting that you like 3rd over these last 2 movies, that's quite rare. A lot of people had a problem with #3 because it went from Ethan and the IMF trying to save the world to Ethan saving his marriage, saving a love interest that came out of no where yet the movie was completely focused on that aspect of it. So these last 2 were leagues above imo, the 3rd one felt out of place with whole save my wife thing.
