Lot of people's complaints about the movie are really on the plot, specifically how convoluted it is and seemingly aimless. The Lestrange plot could have been excluded from the movie and nothing meaningful would have changed really. Ironically, I liked Leta and was disappointed she was killed off. Then there's Queenie's strange behavior and decision making, felt like her character was butchered a bit. One of the biggest criticisms I hear is that it messes with the Dumbledore family lineage that was already established in Deathly Hollows. Also, if you think about it, you're telling me Leta happened to exchange her brother for a long lost DUMBLEDORE, who happened to be on the same boat as them? The odds are insane. All in all, I enjoyed the film for a lot of the fun moments it had like you guys did, but it felt really nonsensical.

I think you shouldn't take people's opinions into account... yes the movie could have done things better but if you like it, what others say shouldn't affect your opinion, great reaction! did you notice the Snake's name "Nagini" and Nicolas Flammel is the guy that made the Scorchers' Stone so thats's where we know him

I’m glad Tina didn’t bother you as much this time. lol. I wasn’t trying to hate on you before. Just Inform you ;) I also don’t hate the 2nd film but once I examined it closer it does have issues (which die hard potter fans have issue with) and just story overall structure issues that Make no sense (for now... I feel like they will later). And yes. I’m sad we have to wait for the next one but hoping they can start filming it soon at least!

The reasons I personally didn't like this movie was because it's obvious they want to tell the story of Dumbledore vs Grindlewald, which I'm totally down for, but they wrap it in a Fantastic Beast packaging. Which has nothing to do with the story they want to tell. Either make one, or the other. The reason I liked the first one was because it was something totally different, with creatures I read about in the Harry Potter books and a guy that just loves them all. Yes, there was this side story of Grindlewald but it didn't take away from the story of Fantastic Beasts. The second one clearly is no longer about the Fantastic Beasts and it just feels like they're forcing the characters to be in this story because we are familiar with them. And the twist that Credence is a Dumbledore kind of goes against the Harry Potter books as well, which really bugs me. There were definitely fun moments in this movie and nothing but love to anyone who likes it, this is just why I don't
