Please do chronological, they have episodes that link together, that are seasons apart.

Can I recommend you watch the series in chronological order? The show jumps around in time so it can be confusing for newbies but if you watch in chronological order you get the proper story progression. I think release order is a good choice, but please watch the "The Clone Wars" movie before proceeding with the series.

Release order is okay but some arcs are over multiple seasons so might be worth watching some of it in chronological order for sure

So great seing you react to Clone Wars, I really love this show and many people consider it to be the best star wars content out there. As you progress in the seasons it really starts to grow, talking about more & more mature issues like slavery and the impact of the war on the principles of the Republic. Although I think it's best watching it in chronological order, because some episodes that link each other are seasons apart, I cannot wait for you to see what this show has got in store for you and I'm sure you'll love it! Looking forward for some more SW content.

I think you should watch the clone wars movie first either in your own time or in reaction if you are doing release order

I don't think they intended for the show to be watched in released order as it was aired on tv, you going to get confused for the first 3 seasons and unlike the movies which can be watched fine in any order I think this tv show should be done in chronological order I've watched released order before I didn't enjoy this show that much then when I found out about chronological order it became one of the best shows I've seen.

I know a lot of people have mentioned it already but the chronological order would really be best. I personally believe that it would make the storylines easier to follow but if you continue to do release order that is fine too 😁.

As for Ventress (Dooku’s apprentice), she is a Sith Acolyte. So she is Dooku’s personal assassin and is trained (to a limited degree) in the dark side, but not fully like a Sith Lord. Dooku is still the junior Sith Lord to Palpatine’s senior. Also the Sith have something called the Rule of Two so there can only be two full Sith Lords at a time-a master and an apprentice, for a master without an apprentice is a master of nothing. And as for Dooku he truly believed that Palpatine’s New Order (what would become the Empire) would be better for the Galaxy than the Republican (like a dictatorship would be more efficient than a democracy in his eyes).

Dooku was never a committed Sith. He wanted to use the Dark Side to destroy the Sith. He doesn't care about the Rule of Two. As far as Sidious knows, Ventress is nothing more than a Force sensitive assassin with lightsabers. The fact that Dooku is training her properly in the Dark Side is a secret between them.
