i dont know if you have seen Orphan but the girl from district 2 Clove its the actress that plays Esther in Orphan, if you haven't seen it I recommend it, its horror tho! btw: can't wait for the next one!! third and fourth one are like HP they split it in two parts therefore third one its a little slow like HP and the Deathly Hallows part 1 but still great

Yeah, so once you compete in the hunger games (and win, because the winners are the only survivors), you never have to do it again. You’re never hungry again. And you live in a mansion. Haymitch has lived in a mansion since he won. But also, you have to be a mentor for the upcoming tributes. Just imagine how awful it has been for Haymitch. He is the only winner ever from district 12 (the underdog district every year) and has had to mentor a girl and a boy every year for 24 years and all of them died because they were malnourished and untrained. No wonder he became a heavy drinker. How else can you deal with that? Also, the capitol isn't so much biased towards 1 and 2. Districts 1 and 2 just have the most profitable jobs and are therefore able to feed and train their children to be warriors. District 1 produces all the luxury goods ($$$$) and district 2 provides defense (soldiers and some tech). District 4 is also highly competitive in the games, and they are the water people. So, they know how to sail, fish, make fishhooks, swim, use tridents and nets, etc.

Also just to throw it out there, there has been another winner from district 12 named Lucy Gray Baird, she won the 10th hunger games and is in the newest prequel book
