Release order now is very messed up thing, with the release of sequel trilogy it only make sense to watch (4 5 1 2 3 6 solo rogue 7 8 9) , makes much more sense from emotional and other standpoints.

Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back(ESB) May 21, 1980 Pros: This movie is considered to be the best in or one of the best in the entire Star Wars 9 movie saga, this gave us one of the biggest plot twist in cinema history as Vader being Luke’s father. We also got introduced to Yoda which is one of every fans favorite characters and we got a continuation on Luke’s lightsaber and Jedi training and Darth Vader finally fought Luke Skywalker which was a good emotional fight, one of the best in the series and we got introduced to Lando Calrissian which I feel was a needed character for the team, and this was one of the first films out there where the villain really one and lost nothing and the heroes had to regroup and get new plans and how to beat this Empire. This movie also had an AMAZING beginning sequence. We also got introduced to the mighty Darth Sidious. Cons: This movie to me at least felt very slow until the big ending scenes. Now the fight at the end wasn’t the best physically with Luke having barely any training and Vader holding back against him so he doesn’t mortally hurt his son or kill him. Han and Leia didn’t really have an interesting story besides the dynamic between the two. Also they should’ve given us more Yoda and history on the Jedi. Conclusion: Three Years after “A New Hope” we got “Empire Strikes Back” which meant that Luke might not have had that much training because he had no teacher but he did slightly improve in the force not making him extremely over powered but just good enough so he doesn’t seem over powered after his small amount of training with Yoda especially since he lost to Vader and Vader was holding back. None the less it was a great film I give it 7/10.
