I grew up in Colorado, but my family moved to Rhode Island when I was a teenager. Couple of things: 1) Cumberland, RI (at the beginning) looks nothing like that, at least not now anyway lol. Also, Barrington, where they also menion at the beginning like a rival school, is considered a very bougie part and people automatically think people there are snobs so that part fits. Lastly though, and this part's cool because I didn't see this movie until a couple years later, that bar that they have lunch at on the waterside in the middle of the movie called "Hot Club", is still here and popular today and is where I went for my 21st birthday a few years ago! Haven't been there in a couple years now but they always had free fresh popcorn which was awesome. Also, another movie if you haven't seen it kind of in the same vein as this I think is "My Best Friend's Girl", I haven't seen it in forever but I remember it being pretty funny.
