Hello folks! Thanks to old and new patrons alike, for your continuous support~

After some deliberation with friends and colleagues, I've decided to make some changes to this page, starting now in December. Sorry for the somewhat short notice, and for any inconveniences that may occur.

If you are a honey tier patron, I highly advise you read this post carefully.

Starting off, what changes can you expect to see, and why? The biggest change we're gonna see is me cutting the amount of honey tier slots by about half and upping the price by 10usd. This is due to me feeling like I've bit off a bit more than I can chew, generally speaking.

Sadly, due to Patreon being very inconvenient when it comes to changing parameters once a page is already up and running, this is how this is going to go down:

Sometime as close to the month shift as possible, so late evening for me, Nov 30th - I'll be deleting the current honey tier, and replacing it with a new, identical one with the appropriate amount of slots, priced at 40usd.

If you're part of the honey tier currently, and would like to opt out due to these changes, I advise you remove your pledge asap. Since I've got a pay-up-front model, this month is already paid for, and you should have access to all content through the end of November.

If you'd like to opt into the new honey tier, I advise you do so no earlier than anytime during Dec 1st. Before you make your new pledge, please confirm that there is a new 40usd honey tier (I'll make a new public post once it's up and running). If you pledge that amount before the tier exists, Patreon will automatically shunt you into the "no rewards" group, which basically means your pledge will be treated as a donation, and you may not be eligible for any rewards.

These slots will go to the early birds after the change is implemented. I know that's not the fairest solution, but with how Patreon set up, it is unfortunately the only solution.

"What if I opt out, and still have unused tokens`?"

I still have all your tokens tracked in my own calc sheets, and they still hold the same power. You can simply reach out to me in due time via discord, or email, if you'd like to spend them, so to speak. However, with the holidays coming up, please be understanding and patient, if I may have to stagger some of my work until January.

-----------------------------

The positives to come out of these changes, hopefully, for both you and me is that I'll have some more time to work on personal and universal content - such as my solo projects, and patreon polls. Just let me know if you have any questions.

I think that's all for now.

Thanks again for your continued support, and for making me able to pay my bills whilst still pumping out all this fun content for ya.

Happy holidays, and take care of yourselves~

I assume the amount of Worker tokens to convert into a Honey token will likewise increase from 3 to 4?

I've no plans for that. I think it's fair to keep the exchange rate of the worker tokens the same. There's a number of reasons for that, but most of it boils down to similar reasons as to why you usually get a discount for long-term plans when buying a subscription, etc. But yeah, 3 W tokens still = 1 H token.

ok, so this is basically the commission system for you? save up tokens for what we want at the level of detail we want and there is basically a que? this is pretty brilliant. i know what i am doing as early on December 1 as i can lol.

Bikupan

To an extent, yeah. My own general guideline as far as "queue" goes within Patreon - I aim to finish all token commissions the same month they're requested, and I usually go in the order of first-come-first-served. Worth noting however that I'm actively trying to make Patreon more of a platform for my own ideas and projects, which is part of why I'm cutting down the amount token slots. I still do commissions regularly outside of Patreon tho~
