Where to find Futbin Graphs

Futbin Graphs are on every Card Page. On the Desktop version, it's slightly below the current prices and just in the middle between the chemistry style options and the general information about the card. On mobile, it’s the bottom half of the screen.

By default it's set to “Daily Average” and it shows the complete Daily Graph. When we talk about Futbin Graphs we are usually referring to the Hourly Graph.

How does Futbin collect data?

Futbin uses EA bots to collect prices. These bots are working almost all day and are very accurate, especially during the early stages of the game. However, as we get more and more cards, these bots are just not enough to keep up with every card and some cards don’t get a price update.

Price Updates and when these are made are also displayed on the website. These give you an idea of how recent the price is. A recent price update means more accurate prices, an old price update means less accurate prices.

A card likely gets multiple price updates. In that case (which is 99%), the current price is still displayed right next to the player on top of the player page and the graphs below put an average for the specific day/hour.

These three points are the main reason why Futbin does NOT show market changes in real-time. We use Futbin to look back and understand the market. However, if we want to interact with the market, then we use the FUT Market in the game.

Daily Average

First View

The above is the daily average view. The x-axis shows the time and the y-axis shows the price. You have the option to zoom in and even set a specific range to view specific dates.

The “Daily Average” option is good for seeing past price movements. Futbin saves the data for the whole year so we can look far back and see what happened, even for previous years!

A few important things worth mentioning here:

1st – Futbin and our Discord use the UK time zone, which can shift the daily average prices if you are from a different time zone/area.

2nd – You can change the console with the buttons on the bottom.

3rd – These are average numbers, which means these cards were higher and lower throughout the day.

4th – This graph option is recommended for long-term projections and less recommended for short-term projections.

Hourly Average

 Hourly Graph

This is the hourly graph. The x-axis shows the time and the y-axis shows the price. This view allows you to analyze the short-term market movements for the past seven days. As the name already says, these are average prices and we usually have cards below and above these prices.

Short-term market movements are key for many trading methods and I recommend using this view for more detailed information.

A few things worth mentioning here:

1st – The current day starts at UK Midnight.

2nd – Futbin saves the hourly data for the past seven days only, after midnight the oldest hourly graph is gone.

3rd – The mobile version has a different view with an option to show the graphs in the local time zone, make sure to switch it to the UK timezone.

14 Days Graph

14 Days Graph

This is the 14 Days Graph which is a recently added feature on Futbin. This allows you to see the hourly graphs for 14 days, even longer than the previous hourly graph. The x-axis shows the day and the y-axis shows the price.

It's another way of checking recent and hourly prices. This is also recommended if you want to analyse recent trends similar to the previous hourly graph.

Low and High Points

 Fluctuation

This is a very easy example for Low and High points because Varane is one of the cheapest 84-rated cards while taking this picture. As soon as Futbin records a cheap price for him, he gets into the top solutions for a few SBCs and the demand rises. This is a very common pattern for cards and this happens across the market every day. The peak is green and the low is red.

It’s important to know that Futbin doesn’t catch every peak/low point and you can probably find deals on the actual FUT Market every hour. It’s also important to know that not every graph looks like this. Some graphs are rather flat compared to this one. Fluctuation and these high/low points will be a big part of future guides and other trading techniques.

Special Cases

Content Release

Drop after content

Content impacts the Market and this is also noticeable on the graphs. Most of the time, content-related price jumps or drops occur at 6 p.m. UK time. If you notice a big spike or drop at 6 pm it's most likely due to new content.

I recommend doing your research and finding out why a specific card has a sudden rise/drop. This can help you identify the right trading technique or method and also get you an idea of what the content release does to the market. If you can’t find the answer or you aren’t sure, then you can always ask me/us in the chats.

Missing Data

Gaps in Graphs

A very common issue for the PC Market but this can happen on any console. Sometimes Futbin just doesn’t have the data. In this case, there’s missing data between 3 pm and 9 pm UK time.

These situations are very unfortunate for our trading as it makes everything a bit harder and sometimes it also means skipping a trade due to missing data.

Wrong Price Range/Price Range Update

 Extinct cards

That is usually how a wrong Price Range or extinct cards look on a graph. For the first few days, Ronaldo had a price range of 160k and there was no sale recorded below 160k for him. That means he was at max price and likely even extinct. After the new Price Range, the line goes up again and continues the normal market movement.

Summary

- Futbin Graphs are averages and never live prices.

- Daily Graphs for long-term movements, Hourly Graphs for short-term movements.

- Make sure to check for special cases such as missing data or content-related price changes.
