Hello Patrons & Followers,

I'd like to make an announcement about something that is related with my art-style. For those who don't know I started officially my career in 2005 working for Magazines like MAX, MAXIM(the european editions) and more.

I used to draw 100% photorealistic sexy pin-ups but I became more popular by my cartoony style, that means that my lines were more exaggerated, sometimes with bigger eyes, exaggerated expressions and poses. It was this "style" that put me on the international lists as a pinup artist and I started my career in the US. As the years passed I joined into the comic industry(in 2011 I think) I combined the photorealistic and cartoony styles to one which is thisone you recognize it on my covers, and of course I'll continue to do it because you and me like it.

The reason why I'm writing this post is cause thanks to Patreon I made the decision of starting again the "cartoony Elias style" I so much love and enjoy. However, it won't be much different from what you have seen by me, just a bit more exaggerated.  Something tells me that you are gonna love my new pinups.:)

Thank you everyone,

Elias

I admire the realism style because it is more challenging. I myself am into drawing semi realism.. sadly I don’t have the time that I used to for drawing. I am very much into your current style but so excited seeing the direction you are going into 😁

In my opinion the "good" cartoonish style it might be more difficult than the realistic. Do not forget that if you want to be a good cartoonist your must know first to draw realistic forms. Photorealism is like the alphabet, to write a song you must know the alphabet first. :)

Its funny that you post this as I just read that Brie Larson needs a "butt double" for her Marvel movie. After asking the wife, "can't they just add padding to her superhero costume", it seem like they may need your services for promotional artwork. 😉 Yet just a couple of years ago, Blizzard get all kinds of hate for the Overwatch Tracer "butt pose" ? I guess that means, video games have to present a realistic body image even in a cartoon art style, yet a real life action movie can't use the real actor's body. The rules seem to be, your photorealistic style can only be used on fictitious characters and this cartoony style only applied to real life people. (my head hurts now)

I know I have been following your career for a very long time. Before the days of facebook. I followed your work on DA. I always loved your style and enjoyed watching it evolve and was thrilled to see your fame rise! Keep up the good work!
