I start out with a loose sketch to get an idea of the pose I want. After I tighten up the sketch, it's onto the line work. This is followed by flat colors for the characters. Sometimes the costume colors get tweaked before the next stage. After that, some shading and working out the background. Effects like sweat or uh, lady cream is added in the final piece.
