An 'It Hurts' inspired comic! (Only On Patreon)

Hello all! We have been back & forth on if we should 'remake' it hurts many times, however it's just not in the cards for us? We decided since the story is over and finished that we should not sully it's love from the readers. So instead we made a story inspired by all the changes we wanted to do to the original it hurts but instead it's a new story with a new plot~

The characters are Komo (based on Seto) a trans man who lost his entire family in a horrible ocean accident and lost his life's love in the process: His love of the ocean. And Rasu (based on Raijin) a optimistic surfer and free diver who loves his family and lives by the moto "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade!".

The story follows Komo's mental health journey from his intense trauma and learning to love the ocean again, love himself, and let....Rasu...love him? eyes emoji It also follows Rasu's extended family drama with his mother & his grandpa who was recently diagnosed with Cancer.

In many ways it will be more angsty/sad than the comic it's inspired from, a pure drama about characters that have been mega developed through our many years of writing with it hurts! After all these characters are Seto and Raijin reborn into a new story!

All in all we hope you like the idea? It's how we are able to remake/have the story we wanted without hurting it's previous original version. This way we have the want and motivation to work on it as well since it's ending is unknown and brand new!
