Jay Zhao, who's recently been banned from being nominated for a Hugo award for her first novel, has a great video on her channel where she deepdives into chinese philosophy themes in Kung Fu Panda and how it presents a conflict between Confucian and Taoist phiphilosophy. Highly recommend.

I remember seeing this movie as a double feature with Indiana Jones 4 at a drive-in movie theater with my church youth group in Blue Ridge, Georgia. I wasn't interested in this movie at all at the time. But I ended up enjoying it more than Indiana Jones 4.
