I’m so glad you guys caught on that Isaac might be ace. The creator of Heartstopper is aroace so it’s just wonderful to see that representation, especially when it’s basically non existent. Nick's coming out is done really well too. It's never a one and done situation. He'll meet people his whole life who will assume he's straight. And yeah, some people might not bother with it. But Nick's just discovered who he is and he's proud of it and of being with Charlie and it's just scary for him to show that pride. I'm glad it happened the way it did.

Totally understandable, but we usually don’t do it for reactions because it makes it a little harder to edit without covering the words on top of the fact that Rizzo and I just personally don’t like watching things with subtitles in the way 😅 but we definitely HAD to use them for Derry Girls lol
