Sara has autism spectrum disorder. A symptom of that is often a flat affect (little or hard to read facial expressions). The actress herself also has autism. The acting choice is deliberate and something Frida, who plays Sara, has dealt with. The level of privilege ignorance in this show makes me absolutely furious. The amount I want to punch Vincent... So many of the kids chastise Simon for advocating for basic human rights, yet the elitist kids will protest for luxuries they feel entitled to. Hypocrisy is one of the things I hate most in the world. True, Simon isn't really thinking as much about how much being royalty does suck for Wille, but Simon is right that the advantages far outweigh the negatives, Wilhelm is wasting opportunities to enact the change that Wilhelm himself cares about, and Wilhelm is keeping this burden on when it's voluntary. Simon has witnessed first-hand just how miserable being Crown Prince makes Wille, so he's like, "Why the hell are you keeping this title if it makes you this miserable when you're not going to do anything good with it? It's not like you all of a sudden won't be rich as shit if you abdicate." I'm totally team Simon. I see it as the Spider-Man dilemma. Wilhelm has been given great power, and with that power comes the responsibility to use it for good. If he doesn't, he's part of the problem, imo. Even if Wille gave up the royal title, he'd still have power to make statements/fund change. If he didn't, I couldn't respect him. I'm not sure how Simon can ignore this fact. I could not be in that kind of relationship, personally. Things are far from sunshine and rainbows for Wille, but he's ignoring a lot of his blessings or the fact that he CAN leave this situation. Lisa Ambjörn has been the head writer for every episode (and show creator), so that's part of the reason the show has maintained such great consistency. The lead show director left this final season though. It used to be Rojda Sekersöz for seasons 1 and 2. Three different directors took over for the final season. It's amazing how smooth the story stays.

I haven’t noticed an immediate change in the direction so that’s good and the writing has stayed more than consistent! Love the show and thank you for the comment. Totally agree. “Great Power = Great Responsibility”
