i uploaded one of the base models in unity and i noticed when i crouch and lay down there is a object that obstructs the viewport.

You may be seeing the mane, since it's using a toon shader with outline the inside is black. If you can, try with the Standard shader or try to turn off the outline on the hair material. I would also recommend downloading and importing again, I have been doing some tested in VR and Desktop, but haven't seen the same issue except for a split second while moving and crawling in Desktop mode.
