i’m the opposite! i don’t ever buy myself anything! i use things until they are at the point of no longer being able to use or wear! but i have been kinder to myself about making purchases i want because for years i was static & never did. im not going all crazy, but it does feel nice to have new things that aren’t breaking or looking old idk why i do that to myself. i think my parents gave me this stingy mindset that i don’t deserve nice things even though i work hard. 😭

That’s LITERALLY me with spending. I don’t indulge in a lot because it makes me feel guilty that I’m not investing or doing more for myself seriously. Even though I’m in grad school, working and writing books. I’m working this out in therapy! But I also have the habit of wearing things out until the point of no return. Hence why I still use my 10 year old broken a$$ laptop!! 😭😭
