Some white Christian girl on my Facebook said that people need to stop criticizing Kanye and his new wave of gospel music because his walk with the Lord is no one’s business. She said she finds it uplifting that he is being a good example and leading people to god but I feel as if she’s missing the point of why everyone is dragging Kanye. Thoughts?

obv i'm not kenya but i have some thoughts on this being contradictory. if its his own business with himself and the lord then why is he turning it into a commodity by selling it and holding his music festival sunday services? i am not religious myself but to me it seems like the reason many ppl (christian and non-christian) are dragging him is because of how public, dramatic and preachy he's being about everything. i'm fine with ppl changing their views on religion and becoming more religious which it seems he has but the way he's gone about it makes it seem like he's doing the opposite of what he thinks people expect of him for publicity/just to be different. like i said i believe people can change but this is kanye who posed as jesus on his rolling stone cover debut and on his album Yeezus has a song "ft. God" where you click God as the artist and it leads just to that song lmfao. I think he has a god complex and nothing about his praise music makes me think otherwise.
