Can't speak for Hispanics in Florida bc I believe the majority are Cuban. I'm not cuban. But I'm a Texas Mexican, and there's a lot of anti-immigrants sentiment (from people who were immigrants themselves) + just religious values that come into play. Texas has the votes. Our representatives are just clowning in our faces with the gerrymandering. If Democrats actually cared about Hispanic issues (path to citizenship for undocumented people nowhere to be found, DACA being shit on every other day, talking shit about refugees, selling guns to latin america), a lot more people would vote. I am excited for Kamala. There's some hope now.
