600 years ago - on the 29th of July 1423 - Władysław Jagiełło, King of Poland and Supreme Duke of Lithuania, granted municipal rights to a small village Łodzia, which later grew to be the city I live in, Łódź.

13 years earlier, on 15th July 1410, Jagiełło led the allied Polish-Lithuanian forces against the knights of the Teutonic Order in the biggest battle of the Middle Ages - the Battle of Grunwald (also called the Battle of Tannenberg as well as the Battle of Žalgiris). The brother-knights were defeated, their Grand Master slain.

So, to celebrate this anniversary here's the king, including armoured and sitting versions, and a throne with dais/platform to put it on. Get them in the repository.

Happy printing and thank you for your support!

I always appreciate history, and love to 3D print models of historical artifacts and figures. Thank you for this one. By the way, I am an American of Polish ancestry. Last name was Sieroslawski (American spelling) before my father had it shortened when I was a kid, so Polish history is of even more interest to me.
