If I ever create a tabletop skirmish game (like there aren't enough of those already), it will be set in the late 19th/early 20th century, the age of steam, gas lamps and early electricity. Although the city I live in, Łódź, celebrates this year the 600th anniversary of becoming a town (in 1423 the Polish king Władysław Jagiełło signed the charter granting municipal rights), it was really a small village until the 1820's when it got a new life with the advent of the industrial revolution. Steam engines, smoke stacks, red brick factories - the city exploded becoming a textile industry empire.

This is my first go at a Victorian/Edwardian age minis and I'm quite happy about how they came out, as designing supportless minis in the age when capes and robes are no longer a thing is challenging. They can be used in steampunk age games or Cthulhu by Gaslight.

- gentleman/industrialist

- investigator

- newsboy

- lady/suffragette

Get them all in the repository (new link!).

Next: moving forward in time to WW2.

It's been a difficult time recently. My better half's mum has passed away just before Easter, losing an uneven fight with cancer. She was a lovely person and the kind of in-law you'd like to have. This is a very sad momment for us.
