Fortnightly Progress - 18th October (Patreon)

New plan, not going to worry about doing these on a specific day. 

Having such a deadline apparently twists up my melon (perhaps I talk too hip), and so I'm just going to make it some weekday each second week rather than stressing too much about exactly which day that might happen to be. 

Back to the hospital again for my eyes on Monday. So that's a thing, one that's rather heavily weighing on the whole noggin (just calling it my head/mental state is lava btw), so this is going to be a bit truncated in terms of what I fancy talking about. 

It's just that it has been over a year now of this bloody distraction. Which in itself caused several chain reactions including to my living conditions as I couldn't see how bad things had gotten or what was causing them. This was beginning to be a real issue already back in last September, and by October back then I was deep in denial about how bad it was that I could only just see out of one eye at a time. Yes, really seriously, not big or clever that I wouldn't get proper help until by end of November which resulted in the first immediate refferal to the hospital. 

Please wish me the best of luck that I won't be back on more sodding eye drops. Yes, I know that doesn't sound too bad. But when you've done as many as I have by this point. Including ones done every hour, on the hour, on top of others within that hour, they get significantly more wearing/disruptive.

In other news I'm now on Bluesky. 

Big thanks to the patron on discord who sent me a code. I'm not planning to discontinue the Twitter from which you can find the link to the Bluesky. I just got to 1,400 followers on there. This is basically going to be a mirror that everything I put up on Twitter also goes up on there just in case it goes all Tumblr-pocalypse all over again. 

Will talk about No Haven progress proper where I hopefully will have better things to say next time round.

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

Completely solved and sorted those assigning issues!

Not just that I accidentally clicked on the player while testing an assignment. Now last time I tried that it was just completely out of the question in terms of how much it fell over, and so I'd very much benched that as a big complex concern to come back to. 

And yet thanks to the other work this time it worked. 

Well, with provisos. The finish day stuff resulted in a full wall of red text badness.

So that took a whole bunch of untangling. I did manage to sort it though, and so now the player can go assignments too, get put back where they are supposed to be, and the only thing not working was the auto-finish day. That should be an easy sort I think?

July+August - Dominance Training : What I said last time: 'Hey I've heard from them! No progress but maybe there will be some action by the next one of those.' No joy alas. They have posted one art to twitter since so here's hoping that's a positive sign. 

May+June - Whores for the Whore Makers : It's coming along nicely. Still fair way to go though I think.

May+June - Clandestine Insinuations : Posted it yesterday! Really liked how it turned out. 

July+August - Antiques Dealer : Man, this is lovely compared to last one of these, as this has had progress too. It's going to be a much bigger piece than was the plan thanks to the artist being deeply lovely. Composition is great, and we're talking out the details now as this is taking a lot more new design of stuff that lacks refferences. The caravan looks great, background is pretty much sorted, it's mainly the dealer, beasts, yes beasts pulling it, and also some extra fun details the artists just fancied including. 

September - Ex to Sea : Already fully confirmed with an artist. 

As for this month's commission poll:

I did really like the concept for Mark of the Wanton when I came up with it so combined with the other options being returners I did suspect a blowout. If anything I'm impressed that Orc Cum and Fulfil Opportunities is only 12 votes behind and does have some solid support. 

That's still got 13 days to go so plenty of time left to vote if you do see if you want to try to put a dent in that lead.
