Fortnightly Progress - 5th October (Patreon)

Oh hey ended up doing another Thursday one of these anyway. Things happened. Next one will be back to being on a Monday. 

Also patreon please stop changing things that were working already for no apparent reason. Grumble, grumble. 

• No Haven

Was able to get a Quality of Life update out yesterday. You can find the patch notes on the twitter, and it will be out for everyone next wednesday if it's all okay. 

Had aimed to get that for the end of the month on the Sunday, but a couple of the bug fixes and new additions ended up taking more time than I thought they would. So that was rather stressy for several days there. Glad I sorted that and got it out when I did as if it dragged on even further that would have got super un-ideal. 

To talk about some of the stuff in there, of the two re-writes, Sky-Shaman was planned already for 0.99 to go with the commission. I ended up doing Horned One Camp too as it was annoying me just how incredibly short and basic it was when doing Twine testing. 

That one is pretty much more of the same, just expanded to be a lot more substantial, while Sky-Shaman is more of a comprehensive retheming of the original version. 

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

Those assigning issues I mentioned last time have been slowing things down a tad. I've got it so both types in your encampment will show up when they should be assigned like on Whore Makers or Price of Freedom but I'm having issues with the display not correctly hiding/showing what it should.

No stream tonight but there should definitely be ones on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

• Commissions

July+August - Dominance Training : Hey I've heard from them! No progress but maybe there will be some action by the next one of those. 

May+June - Whores for the Whore Makers : No progress seen since the last one of these so still at the base colours stage. 

May+June - Clandestine Insinuations : No progress seen since the last one of these so still at the refined sketch stage.

July+August - Antiques Dealer : As is very much the theme no progress seen since the last one of these so still at the first sketch stage. 

As for this month's commission poll here are the final results:

Bungling was able to get back up to 2nd but it wasn't enough, and so I'll be sorting out Ex to Sea next week. 

Commission poll for this month should be out tomorrow. It won't be an alternative one again but I will be going back to basing it on the support tiers rather than unwisely acting like I'm still on 1,750 a month still which after so long of not being even close to that is in no way clever or sustainable for me. 

So what I'm going to do while we're around this level of funding is a mix of options with getting a single piece with two characters or getting two pieces with one character each. Then if we get back up to 1,500 I'll increase it to four characters, and at 1,750 and above it'll be back to six like it was before.  

If it gets above that well we can think about that then as it'd be silly to spend much brain space on it now given how things are currently going. If I remember right, and I don't think patreon even shows these on the front page to new people anymore, the old plan was setting up a proper website at 2,000, and increasing to eight characters at 2,250.
