- No Haven
Looks like I will be doing another Quality of Life update at the end of this month so that will be out for those on the patreon before the next one of these. Will try not to have it delay the proper 0.99 update work by much.
Did really like doing the first and I think everyone's happier when actual playable additions are being made regularly. Me especially, and I do think it's improved how things are going with tackling the near vertical cliff face of the what is still to be done.
That Quality of Life update going to include the odds floor mechanic improvements mentioned in the last one of these. I've also had a patron fund a new corruption (thanks btw!) so that will be in there, and as I'm going to be in those timers anyway I'll likely also add some more when I'm there. I've got a fairly rediculous set of four (one for each type) documents with notes on potential corruptions to add so I'm sure I can find some quick wins in there to add some more variation.
- The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams
I'm actually beginning to run out of assignments that I've not seen at least once in the Twine version.
While that might make the repititive nature of testing a bit more onerous it is very good news in terms of what it means in terms of progress.
Saturday's stream was especially good. So good I wish I could bottle that energy cause man I got soooo much done.
Discovered that, unsurprisingly, the mechanics behind fulfil opportunity assignments were an utter mess in the conversion. It's enough of as mess I'm amazed it works even in RAGS so I knew that was going to be an issue.
Did consider starting over using the new method. Instead I decided to see if I could salvage it, and after the stream was done it's now, I think, in a much better more manageable state.
Currently I'm working on some assigning issues that cropped up yesterday.
- Commissions
July+August - Dominance Training : What I said last time: "First part is done. Artist is more active again, and thinks they can do some work on it tomorrow." No activity since.
May+June - Whores for the Whore Makers : Now seen some base colours.
May+June - Clandestine Insinuations : Has been starting and I've seen a number of increasingly refined sketches.
July+August - Antiques Dealer : ...I don't want to add years to these, I really don't, but yes you might notice I have two much the same in this list. Okay, that aside, this one has already started and I've seen a rough sketch.
As for this month's commission poll when I checked last week it was impressively tight in the way that I really enjoy. Baffling Bunglers had 27 votes while Strictly Confidential and Ex to Sea were right behind tied on 26.
Here is how it stands now:
Some bungling has clearly taken place for that one to drop from first down to third. Will the tortured pun that is Ex to Sea take the win or will there be yet another shake up at the top.
As always I hope that was worth the read, and thanks so much for your patience and support!
