  • No Haven 

Update is dragging on a tad which isn't ideal. Still it should be out by this time next week so you shouldn't have too much longer to wait for it. 

Been thinking about victory conditions recently. The having lots of gold one is very, very placeholder and it shows. What I'm thinking I'm going to do for the next update after the one I'm working on is to add some more conditions to reflect that it does take more than just a lot of gold to become a noble. As a plus I think it'd be a good way to make the Mistress of the Ensnared Rose more relevent for non-sub playthroughs as she's just the kind of character who would have the right kind of connections that you'd need to make it happen.

I was thinking something like this for the Noble win:
-5k gold saved

- At least three opportunities fullfilled for the Mistress of the Ensnared Rose

- At least 3k spent legitimally on commerce so supplies buying, Cutprice Roses, and the like. 

- At least 10 Successes and 5 Critical Successes in the City of Aversol

-Obtained at least 30 City of Aversol assigments

-Sufficiently high quality bedwarmer in a high enough quality outfit to serve as your partner who can smile when prompted and look good on your arm.

-Sufficiently high quality outfit for yourself.

All those numbers subject to change of course. I think this could work nicely to have other themed options to work towards like bringing back the moving into the dungeons win condition that used to exist, and instead of needing twenty slavers, you'd need to do a certain number of Deep Mountains assignments along with having a track record of selling enough high quality individuals at auction. 

Would give a bit more direction while still not messing with the existing sandbox. There'd also be room for other options for say a corruption or being sneaky win condition and the like. There will also be more storyline based win conditions like the current Golem scenario one which I want to do for the Convent and Kitsune ones at least.

  • The No Haven Conversion 

Due to the increased numbers of streams done to catch up, some 4-5 hours long, I have done a ton more of the condition formatting. Of course after it's done I'll have to work out what it all means along with working out what passages I need to move.

Still as I do more and more of it the picture does seem to be getting much, much clearer and I've spotted a few reasons why initially there were such problems that made me decide that the formatting had to be done in the first place. 

  • Commissions 
January+February - Basic/Advanced Maid Training + Deep Mountains Forest Goblin Assignment: All done now!
March - A Deeper Foray: aka the Fel-Tainted Lamia and her statue friend. Should be getting the first sketch on Saturday.
Another Ottomar Quickie: I'd completely forgotten that I'd used the same placeholder art for Draenei Farm as I did for Draenei Caravan until I came to adding this one to the game. Basic upshot is I talked to Eladaer and there'll be another draenei coming to sort out that issue. I've also talked to them about a very fun update to the Icebreaker commission which should with any luck be coming after that one.
Taggerfolk: aka the next one by Mavezar aka the otter beastkin one aka the leading cause of thirst on the discord :D 
Should be done in a few days if what the artist said is right. 
March+April: Neko Protection League is basically done already. Just waiting on one tiny fix and the high res files so I can share them. It's wonderfully lewd and I hope you like it as much as I do. Recapture has been arranged and is aiming to start in June. 
A SFW Landscape Commission: Yes, really! Done on Fiverr even and not by an NSFW artist. Seen more progress on this and it's looking really moody and atmospheric. 
So many No Haven OCs, the Commission: Four of them specifically. Got paid by a very generous patron to sort this out and it's looking great with it mostly now all planned out and about to move onto the adding colours stage. Three that you will be likely familiar with and a new one. I think the patron might want it also for a new assignment, but it'll also be great as a picture for the bonding nightly activity.

Win conditions? I never knew there was such a thing. How can they be accomplished?

It's really not that exciting as the text for it is very short but if you have 10,000 gold you can complete the game.

Besides the 10,000 gold victory is there any other victory methods in the latest No Haven Transformation Tier?

Regarding win conditions, why not take a page out of Sid Meier's Pirates book? Like if you only gather the minimum required amount of gold & fulfil the least possible amount of other conditions, the MC only becomes a lowly baronet at the end, but if you do everything you possibly can, the MC becomes a duke or the like?

I do have a plan to make the current placeholder win condition more interesting, and when I do I'll likely make it so there's long / short goal versions and possibly a medium one too
