Fortnightly Progress - 16th April (Patreon)

Thank you so much for getting me back to the $1,750 tier. Especially given how  I started the last one of these so it is lovely that things are moving in the right direction again. 

•  No Haven  

0.90 is pretty much done and dusted with the latest hotfix being out on the twitter and tumblr. 

So now I've started on 0.91 with me mainly looking at the new dilemmas to start off with. One thing I know some people were concerned with was they'd be too much of a punish-fest and I was also worried it might be too much to the point of being anti-fun. 

Had some decent ideas over this week to address that I think. So there will be some purely positive ones such as the choice of two traits for one of your lot to learn from the others.  Not saying there won't also be quite a few to aid in the feeling that you're trying to lead a herd of cats as that's something I'm always looking to have more of, but it won't totally be about that I swear. 

There's also going to be ways to make better use of your second-in-command if you don't want to deal with them yourself and they're around. Of course if you have one you want to remove this can be a good chance to make them really hate the role to the point where they're the one begging you to do something else. 

Speaking of stuff that won the direction polling that finished and Witch implementation changes won. Surprised by how popular that was as this really is a hard nerf. Don't get me wrong it was always planned as part of the reveal of who they serve and how they have so much power, but I was also happy leaving them as is for awhile. 

•   The No Haven Conversion  

Currently all the streams are No Haven conversion streams. Mainly due to that while I technically have all the code now in what Twine should be able to understand (I think!) the conditions and passages need some serious unravelling. 

So what I've been doing is an attempt to make the code more readable with a bunch of regular expression identing. Given I need to do a bunch of really long streams anyway to catch up where I should be this kind of long repetitive work I don't have to think about that hard is ideal. Especially when chat is distracting me which is always deeply appreciated :) 

• Commissions

January+February - Basic/Advanced Maid Training + Deep Mountains Forest Goblin Assignment: Basic Maid Training is done and the response when I shared a preview on the discord was encouraging to put it lightly. Sketch for the Advanced version is done so hopefully you should be seeing that soon. 

Forest Goblin I've seen a sketch of so far.

March: Lamia and her butt-wings won easily. Not arranged yet as my plan is whoever finishes the January+February ones gets given this one as they're both artists down for doing futa which is rarer than you might think. 

Bred to be Broken: Latest Eladaer one got done this week and I'm sure you'll see more from them in future. 

Gone for a Soldier: A bonus commission coming from Awasof. Based on the sketch I really like what they've done with it, and you should be seeing this one tomorrow if all goes well. 

Another Ottomar Quickie: The price was very right so getting another of these done. Won't know at all what it looks like until it's done in a week or two so crossing my fingers it turns out as well as the elf farm did.  

Taggerfolk: aka the next one by Mavezar aka the otter beastkin one aka the leading cause of thirst on the discord :D 

Seen a sketch and based on that and Mavezar's previous work this should be a good one.

Poll is going amazingly well for this month:

I'm staggered by how close this is still. Couple of days ago there was just the one vote separating the top three choices. Normally it's a forgone conclusion by this point so this is way more entertaining!
