Fortnightly Progress - 9th August (Patreon)

For those aren't patrons or missed the commissions post yesterday the break even target even with patreon pulling more nonsense than usual was hit! That means that there will be a proper update for No Haven guaranteed for the end of this month. 

Speaking of the patreon kerfuffle I definitely got luckier compared to some. Did lose about ten or so patrons to declines that didn't have to happen, but compared to the fifty it was initially or the others who have lost over a years worth of progress in a single swoop it could have been way, way worse. 

If you were one of the ones affected thank you so much for sorting that out, and I really appreciated the lovely responses I got to the messages that I had to send out on that rather trying Thursday.  

• No Haven

All the highlights mentioned last time for the hotfix have been done so that's three new assignments, new starts including one with a new lore page and mechanic, and a new scenario are all completed and ready to go. 

Still working through the far too long list of reported current issues which I'm aiming to finish in the next day or so. Thanks by the way for everyone that has reported issues. Absolutely has to be done by Sunday or there's no way I'll be able to get the promised update out for the end of the month. 

• Whorelock's Revenge 

Sooo... bit of a story time. One late Saturday night or really Sunday morning I'd just finished a stream, and I was not at all happy with the state of the item backgrounds. What possessed me to go with that green-brown mess back then I have no idea. Ended up staying way too even later making a new version which looks far better, which ended up resulting in an even later night starting converting all the old compositions to the new look. 

Did them all over the course of that night and following day and because of that I've decided to expand on the items to a decent degree compared to the RAGS version. Outside of this I've kept to just working on this on streams so it's not effected No Haven dev work to any great degree. 

Does mean the next update has been pushed back a fair bit, but I think this was the right move to see if I can make this a much better experience than it currently is. There's new traits, a bunch of new wearable items, old items like the high heels and corset can be found in chests, and all can come with rebalanced enchantments and curses. 

• Commissions 

Basic Bimbo Training is done while Advanced Bimbo Training should maybe done by the end of this week?

Currently I'm thinking I'll hold them for the September update, but I'll see how the work on the August update goes and maybe I can squeeze that new training path in. Main reason it might wait is I'd like to do the hypnotic slave mantras with bimbo training so that's a reasonable chunk of content to do at the same time.  

The bonus Shadow Outcast commission for Advanced Blowjob Training has been done, and that will either be in the game for the hotfix or August update. 

As mentioned earlier the new special commission poll to celebrate breaking even has started and while there's an early fave there's still plenty of time to get your votes in.

Ended up doing a few more of those early streams than I'd planned due to three different circumstances, though tonight I should be able to get that Thursday stream in unless the internet and/or patreon explodes again :D
